A Question that comes up a lot with our new customers: How do I move the Quickbook file from one computer to the other, without losing any data?

This question is fairly straight forward compared to other Quickbook bookkeeping questions so let me answer here.

When  moving Quickbooks we must make sure to backup all data to a memory card or CD. Also, we must load Quickbooks onto the new computer we want to use.

Once this is complete we can simply take that file ( memory card or the CD) and insert into the new machine we want to house our Quickbooks information.

That Simple.
